Justice

You are Justice

Equity, rightness, probity, executive; triumph of the observing side in law.

Justice is about cold, objective balance through reason or natural force. You can't keep smoking and drinking without consequences to your health. It is the card that advises cutting out waste and insists that you make adjustments, do whatever is necessary to bring things back into balance, physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually. It is a card of balance and harmony; if there is imbalance, the correction may require recourse to the law.

What Tarot Card are You?

Resurrection Sunday

John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;
and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
In his great mercy

he has given us new birth
into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...

Matthew 27:50-53
And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.
At that moment the curtain of the temple
was torn in two from top to bottom.

The earth shook and the rocks split.
The tombs broke open and the bodies
of many holy people who had died were raised to life.
They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection
they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

Sea

There you are!
still and vast-
creating ripples,
kissing
 the deadened shore

you stay calm
at the moment
 like a still,
resting horizon

at times, you
tap the shore
and recoil
tap
and recoil

but when the wind
blows hardly
it sails the waves,
the crest-
biting
and recoiling
drawing some pebbles
to the coast-

the sea has its own
rythm of sadness-

 when
people's footprints
 mark the shore
but
momentarily brushed
by waves

P.S
I promised my college bestfriend that I'm going to write
a poem for her that night.
Ito na yung utang ko na poem best.
Wish you were there :(

Booksale @ Victoria Plaza Mall

Books, books & more books on sale..

I bought two books for the month of March.

Woman Hollering Creek by Sandra Cisneros 35php
The Moon is always female by Marge Piercy 45php (finally, I found the book, phew)

I would have wanted to buy 2 more books kaso lang di ako
napadalhan ni Pap ng allowance nung araw na yun...
I was really sad, super duper.

Then I have to spend my crisp 50 and 20 peso bills na dalawang taon kong tinatago-tago... I have to sacrifice everything for the sake of these "original repositories of knowledge." I bought Cisneros' book for my ever "pacute" feminist barkada, Ms. Krisza Joy Kintanar, nasa kanya kasi ang copy ko ng Brokeback Mountain by Proulx and A House on a Mango Street still by Sandra Cisneros. Para mabawi ko ang two books I have to buy her "something" na katumbas ng dalawang libro, good thing I scavenged "Woman Hollering Creek."

Tumawag si Dr. Fuentes from the University of St. La Salle Bacolod City kahapon, April 8, 2009. Nasa bus terminal kami ng GenSan ni Joy ng mga oras na yun. Di ko alam kung pano mag react, nahiya din akong sumigaw. Pero kung ibabalik ang oras na yun ito sana magiging reaction ko:
